WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE GETTING PIERCED
Appointments are not required but are suggested especially for kids. Just give us a call at 206-729-0200 and we’ll be happy to find a time that works for you.
Identification
We require legal ID for every visit – even if you’ve been in before.
For clients who are 18 years old or older, we will accept any of these:
· Drivers license
· Passport
· Military ID
· Federal or State issued photo ID
· Resident alien card
Minors need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with his/her photo ID. The minor also needs to provide one of these:
· One of the same forms of ID as the adults – listed above
· School photo ID
Ear lobe piercings are the only piercings that we do not require photo ID from the minor. The parent/legal guardian does need to provide photo ID.
Eating
Please eat a meal within 4 hours before getting pierced. This is especially helpful if you are prone to fainting. If you have not eaten, we will probably ask you to go grab a bite. Be good to yourself and eat!
Swimming
We are going to strongly suggest that you avoid swimming/submerging your new body piercing for the first 48 hours. Showering is fine and encouraged.
After the first 48 hours, during the first 4 weeks of healing try to avoid swimming. If you decide to go swimming with a fresh piercing, be aware of where you swim.(The waters in Belize are not same as your local lake.). Public pools, lakes and especially hot tubs should be avoided during healing. If you can not avoid swimming, consider wearing a waterproof transparent dressing such as Tagaderm. At the very least, clean your piercing after you get out of the water.
